Flying Fur Pets is the ultimate boarding and daycare resort for dogs — a one stop shop for boarding, daycare, bathing, and grooming.  

We are urgently seeking hard-working, self-motivated, and passionate dog lovers to join our professional behind-the-scenes squad!! Our salon offers everything from nail trims and baths to full service hair cutting! As a Bather you will be responsible for performing all the bathing services offered by Flying Fur, which include baths, brush outs, de-matting, drying, teeth brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and anal glad expression. In addition, you will also be responsible for keeping the bathing salon clean and organized. We offer a friendly, welcoming, work environment and a strong team of passionate dog lovers! We are seeking reliable individuals that have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a willingness to roll up the sleeves and get dirty!

We need individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable with will breeds, sizes and coat conditions. Bathers in our company are a key role on our team and represent the front line of our business. An ideal candidate would be a genuine dog lover, pay excellent attention to detail, view teamwork and reliability as an important part of job success, and value career growth.

Qualifications:

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills.

· Mandatory availability on Weekends and Holidays

· Ability to handling all breeds and sizes of dogs

· Work in standing position for long periods of time

· Reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift 50 lbs.

Looking for a dog bather for a fast paced grooming salon. Must be dependable, motivated, and detail orientated. Availability Tuesday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm. Full-Time and Part-Time. Must have 3 years of experience, pay is based on experience.

We are searching for an attentive, doting kennel attendant to oversee the well-being of the animals in our care.  

Kennel Attendant Responsibilities:

Transporting animals to and from the kennels.

Ensuring that the animals have ample, fresh food and water at all times.

Cleaning animal waste, spilled food, hair, and other debris from the kennels.

Disposing of trash in a timely manner.

Grooming, playing with and administering treatment to animals.

Accompanying animals on walks, if required.

Calming animals who are in distress.

Adjusting the air temperature to ensure that the animals remain comfortable.

Reporting significant changes to supervisor

Evacuating all animals if an emergency occurs.

Kennel Attendant Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience caring for animals will be advantageous.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Physically fit and agile.

Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds unaided.

A passion for animal welfare.

Available to work during evenings, and on weekends and public holidays, if required.
